September thankfully will be a busy month with arranging a wonderful track by Paul Mealor for the soprano Cai Thomas. along with some strings for Tom Caruana’s as yet untitled project with the fabulous Son of Sam . Work also will continue on orchestrating a new musical theatre piece for Matt Harvey . A short film shoots in November – a dark comedy penned by the talented young director Jamie Maule-ffinch

Short film I contributed music for – release today!

Earth’s Tropical Islands is still on iPlayer. I was tasked with contributing additional music for this flagship BBC2 programme that was broadcast on New Year’s Day 2020, mainly contributing to the episode on Madagascar but also Borneo as well.

Tasked with writing a cinema ident that had the aim of driving short term competition entries with brand awareness, the Lidl cinema advertising campaign I was involved (there Frozen 2 tie-in) was awarded the Grand Prix at the Digital Cinema Media Awards in 2019.

The brief was to recreate a magical Disney atmosphere that would have wide melodic appeal. Gad it seemed to work as Lidl’s competition entries far exceeded expectations and the campaign delivered beyond pre-release targets. Go to the Music page for more info
