Another short film score delivered. This time, a comedy film noir for the London 48 hour film project.
Please have a listen to Trundle & Sewell’s first single release from HookHitch Theatre’s 2014 summer show The Despondent Divorcée by Nathan Foad and Casey Jay Andrews.
Very excited to have A Day in the Life of a Bathroom Mirror at BATFA-affiliated Aesthetica this year. Seems ages ago since I scored the music…Thanks once again to the hugely talented Thomas Gray for some vital extra sounds and music mastering.
Performance of La Belle Noiseuse for solo harp today (1st October) at the Royal Academy of Music 12pm. Performed by Amy Turk. Recording forthcoming
Recording work began with a bang last week at Abbey Road’s iconic Studio 2. We’ve started work on Pete Smith’s new symphonic Pink Floyd project with Peter Scholes’s massive orchestration (played by the Orion orchestra) of Shine On You Crazy Diamond as the centrepiece amongst other works from the group’s catalogue including Eclipse from DSOFTM and Wish You Were Here. With my production/supervising hat on I’m looking forward to seeing how the project develops. Additional song recordings, overdubs and post-production work will continue over the forthcoming months.
From the Producer’s Facebook page:
“A week to go until #MirrorShort screens at DC Shorts in Washington. Meanwhile we’ve been accepted into the San Jose International Film Festival (09-12 October) in California, USA and Aesthetica Short Film Festival (York, UK) (06-09 November) – exact screening times yet to be announced.”
Masterful storytelling in @HookHitch‘s ‘The Despondent Divorcée @Cvenues. Gripping film noir plot, intricate characters & gorgeous music.5/5
